Youth Film Showcase

Give a young filmmaker’s story room to be seen. Youth Film Showcase is a developing program for young people to build their creative voices and share films with a community audience.

An independent nonprofit partner

Purpose & Possibility

Young Voices. A Screen Of Their Own.

The Youth Film Showcase is envisioned as its own event, separate from the festival’s film programming. The original plan allows young people to develop projects through the school year and summer, leading toward an annual August showcase.

Develop A Story

Room for youth to explore ideas and build a project over time.

Make & Learn

A developing pathway for creative practice, filmmaking, and collaboration.

Share With Community

A dedicated screening that celebrates young people’s work and gives their stories an audience.

Participation & Partnerships

Find Your Way Into The Program.

The showcase is in development. The August timing is a planning intention, not a confirmed event date. Age range, submission process, mentorship, location, and family participation details will be shared before enrollment or submissions open.

Tell us whether you are interested in participating, contributing your skills, hosting, or supporting the program. Include the community you serve and what you hope to bring.

Production & Creative Support

Behind The Work With Scene by CEG.

Production coordination, camera and sound support, editing, and screening logistics can be scoped through Scene by CEG. Earlier planning also identified JBJR Productions as a potential collaborator; future partnerships will be confirmed for the edition.

Scene by CEG has donated its time for all of its work with The Living Garden Corp. to date. The Corp. leads its charitable programs and handles charitable support; Scene by CEG is a separate creative-production business.
